Verzameling: Hibiscus Heroes

Hibiscus Heroes is a design studio from Auroville, Tamil Nadu, founded by Sowmya, who left the machinery of global fashion and returned to India to create a brand that chooses nature over novelty, gratitude over greed, and meaning over mass.  

They make their clothes the way we wish everyone could make them. Their dyes are taken from the land around them using hibiscus petals, pomegranate rinds, indigo leaves, and bark gathered from Tamil Nadu’s fields. Each piece is cut from soft, plant-based fabric and dyed by hand in small batches by artisans who understand and respect their materials and processes.  

No chemical shortcuts, no industrial residue. 

The result is clothing that feels alive with colours that shift subtly with wear, fabric that breathes, and details that remind you of the human hands behind them.
