Collection: Lal Design Studio

LAL Design Studio is the creation of mother-daughter duo, Bitasta and Bidisha, based in the beautiful coastal town of Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, in southern India. 

With their in-house team of skilled artisan block printers and tailors, they use only natural fabric and GOTS-certified dyes that are safe for the environment, crafting clothing that reflects our own ethos of care over convenience, process over pretence, and integrity over speed. 

The collection of kurtas, shirts and pants are made from organic cotton handwoven in West Bengal, and the tank-tops and hand-printed pants are crafted from natural bamboo fibre, timeless essentials designed for those who prefer fewer, better things.  

Simple enough for travel, grounded enough for home, and refined enough for those who value how things are made as much as how they look. 

Nothing extra, nothing forced.
